After weeks of rain and unseasonably cold weather, the sun finally came out on May 30th.
This perfect late spring day made for an elegant atmosphere of an outdoor country wedding at the Brush Creek Pavilion, in Vail Valley’s, sunny Eagle, Colorado. The bride wore a floor length, strapless, tiered flowing dress. The bridesmaids were clad in a gorgeous royal blue gowns, and the men donned black long ties. The groom stood tall and elegant in his long white tie and black tuxedo.
Before the ceremony, the couple followed the rules of not seeing each other until the wedding and wrote personal notes to one another on the soles of each other’s shoes which they wore for the occasion.
The moving ceremony’s mood was enhanced by the stunning vistas of the mountains behind the bride and groom. The day was witnessed by friends and family of the couple, and was made especially memorable by the young school children who came to see their teacher get married.
The pavilion was decorated in an elegant country style, with center pieces of lilies and lemons bringing out the lightness and freshness of spring. The cake was a marvelously playful construction of cupcakes with a lovely cake top for the couple to cut and was a great hit among all attending.
